Luggage storage at train stations

Certain train stations in Paris are equipped with luggage storage: Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, Gare de Lyon, Gare d'Austerlitz, and Gare Montparnasse. You can leave your bags for a maximum of 72 hours. The price is the same for all stations and varies between 3 and 7 euros per day, depending on the size of the locker you choose. Access to this service is available from 6:30 AM to 10:45 PM.

Do not travel by train with heavy bags: the boarding platforms are long, the access to the inside of the carriages is narrow, and many trains have two levels.

For short trips of up to 3 days, take only small bags and backpacks and leave the large ones in luggage storage.
