Scribe Street - in Paris

Scribe Street has always been somewhat hidden between two Parisian landmarks, the opulent Opéra Garnier and the famous Galeries Lafayette. It is one of those streets that we hurriedly pass by without even knowing its name. There is nothing interesting that catches the eye, nothing compelling enough to make us stop and note the location.

It was commonly known as 'the street next to the Opéra, a stopping point for the bus that connects Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris.'

Everything changed in the last few years, and Scribe has become a point of reference, a must-visit address for the well-informed.

The change began with the opening of Uniqlo, the Japanese brand that has successfully combined low prices, high technology, and contemporary design. The photo above is from the store's inauguration last year.

Subsequently, important brands competed for space on this street, which spans only two blocks, and an old hotel was transformed into an elegant 5-star establishment.
