As in every summer, the RATP - the company that operates the Paris metro - takes advantage of the French holiday month to carry out important work on its network.
Attention to those planning to use the RER A train to go to Disney or the La Vallée Village outlet from July 28, 2018, to August 26, 2018: the segment that passes through Paris - from the La Défense station to the Nation station - will be shut down for construction, meaning you will not be able to catch the RER A at the Charles de Gaulle - Étoile, Auber, Châtelet - Les Halles, and Gare de Lyon stations, but the rest of the line will continue to operate and the train will reach the mentioned locations. See below for some alternatives to travel from Paris to Disney and the La Vallée Village outlet during this period.
