ClimateBezons, Val-d'Oise, Île-de-France, France, hydrographie

Its climate is a degraded oceanic one, and due to the location of the commune within the Paris conurbation, this causes a very slight rise in temperature of one or two degrees depending on the climatic conditions compared to the rural areas of Ile-de-France. The average annual temperature is 11°C, the coldest month is January with +4°C; the hottest months are July and August with an average annual sunshine duration of 1,719 hours in the south of the Val-d'Oise.

Hydrography

Its territory is bordered by the Seine (along its entire southern length), which also forms its municipal boundary with Colombes and Nanterre. The Marly branch of the Seine originates in the territory of Bezons, which is supplied with water by the Méry-sur-Oise treatment plant. The drinking water is of very good bacteriological quality, containing little nitrate, having little fluoride and becoming relatively low in calcium since the installation of nanofiltration in 1999 at the distribution plant. The water distributed is of river origin, as it is filtered from the Oise River.

Health

The two clinics in Bezons are private, with two re-attachment services to two hospitals, one in Colombes and the other in Argenteuil.
